Sorry about the delay, Leonidas. I suppose I could cut a unit for somwhere for something like a flamethrower (such as Erika's). Also, the first Japanese infantry (the one before the Engineer) is meant to be purely defensive (albeit, home islands only), so embellishing them with an MG may add some color. And, I would indeed like a good 'Bansai' sound file, as one of the Japanese infantry is meant for a bansai troop role. Thanks!

Jimmywax is disapointed that you are not using his P-40 Warhawk. He spent a lot of time and effort to make it and you are't using it. I consider this a personal insult since you often demand people to make units without producing results.

I offer my deepest apologies to jimmywax. Tell him this will be rectified at once. I have three P-40's lying around and mustn't have payed much attention to which one I used. I'm truly sorry to have offended him. I will put his in it's proper place at once.

There, jimmywax's P-40 is now in its place. I did add a USAAF decal shield, to fit in with the other US planes I'm using, though in a place where it won't cut into either his graphics or signature, like I usually try to do (in this case, in the lower left; good thing this is ToT and covering the shield doesn't matter).

If I didn't adequately express it, I mean no disrespect to any graphics designer who creates something I use; I just sometimes use the first version of a unit I find in my graphics folder. I, as having next to no graphics creation skill, am truly grateful for those who do such a service freely. Again, I am sorry.

Yes, it is being done in ToT, as I found that some of its features were needed (such as all the unit slots). I know from reading your posts that you're a real ToT freak yourself.

Okay, I think I've got my units straight (sorry Erika and Leonidas, but I ultimately decided against a dedicated flamethrower unit, but instead to assume it as part of the US Marines unit. Ultimately, the flamethrower was historically just a marine weapon and not the basis of its own units, and besides, it would be difficult to portray the special qualities of this weapon in the Civ 2 engine), and I've got much of the scen itself setup (beginning techs and diplomacy have been assigned, starting cities, improvements, Wonders, and units have almost all been placed, etc.), but now I need some help with events. Of course, no schism and restricting negotiation, and I'm taking Harry Tuttle's advice and creating US attack forces off the shores of Japanese island strongholds to facilitate island hopping. I'm also triggering Soviet aggression in '45, and granting a tech allowing the US to build the 'Day of Infamy' Wonder (replaces Women's Suffrage) when the Arizona is sunk (which begins docked at Pearl) and a tech to the British to allow Chindit Guerillas (replacing Guerilla Warfare). Does anyone have any other ideas for events for this scen?
