Well life has a way of moving these projects to the backburner for us all doesn't it. Its just good to see this moving ahead in any case.

Is it still too early in the development stage to generate a screenie or two?

Actually it kind of is. I haven't placed the units on the map yet, but the terrain and cities are all done. Wait a week or so and I'll get something together.

I'm sure whatever the nature of this "secret mission" is it will fit in right with the story of AE2. Are there any more hints as to what this mission will involve or will this be a strict surprise for the scenario release?

Surprises can be so overrated sometimes

The Secret Mission is a trip to the beleagured British Isles which is barely holding out from the German invasion led by Mannstein. Small pockets of resistance still exist.

Ahh.... so the British Isles are to play a part in this colossal tale of yours. I guess it makes sense that Britain's situation is even more desperate than that of America.

Will all of the British Isles be featured in this second game map or will it instead focus on a smaller section, in the north or south?

Well the current map is for the whole of the Isles, but it's a large map, so I doubt any of your units will be able to travel past a small area.

How's AE development comming along these days HT? Any progress to report to the legions of Civ II fans ready to do they're part to drive the invading Germans off of America's shores?

Nope, sorry to say that I have not done anything new as of yet. I expect to take this back up in a little bit though, so don't think this project is dead.

In any case, I'll be around Europe (with no access to civ) til the end of january, so I wouldn't be able to play anything before that...
