I second Curt's suggestion as well.

A "Red Front" type scenario is always fun.

Trying to defend against blistering Axis attacks on American soil would be interesting.

Without making it overly complicated, you could also include random scenario selection as well, as this would always keep the player on his toes - ie he would never really know where the attacks would come from when he starts the scenario each time. . .

    Cheers!

What we need is a nice big USA map - But it need not be giga - Just large...

Curt's idea is definitely great... In any case, it would be extremely interesting to have it availiable as a multiplayer scenario (perhaps two versions, one SP only, to be played as the Americans and another, more balanced, MP one?)

Yeah, I vote for a Red Front type scenario too. In order to make the best use of the AI though I think it should be playable just from the American side.

Definitely interested in seeing more about the Tibetan monastery side story, I noticed in the rules.txt of Atomic Eagle that there was a wonder called "Mass Occult Rallies" that was disabled.

How about an urban combat mini-scenario using these tiles?

I'm too late here, but Beach Assault gets my vote

One of the many scenarios I started in my head but never got round to actually implementing was a tactical level D-Day landings - a sort of zoomed in Second Front. I was toying with focusing on one of the Beaches and using accurate maps and OOB's.

I'm sure AE2 will be cracking though

              Nice cities BTW Smiley

I also voted for beach assault. Be kinda slick to make reefs an impassable ToT terrain that only Amtanks can negotiate. Reef gfx could be tricky, though. You could also have coastal battery salvoes wreaking havoc on shipping until the batteries are captured.

I toyed with, but never got beyond pencil and paper, making a tactical scen of Tom Clancy's USMC story where they retake Brunei from invading Malaysians. It was a little far-fetched, but would make a fun scen. The main objective was to secure the docks and oilfields before the baddies could ignite either the derricks or a propane tanker in the harbor. The tanker could blow with the strength of a WMD. In TC's world, the jarheads accomplished all in a combined arms tour-de-force with nary a snafu. You could be nastier

In Tom Clancy's world, many odd things happen!

But his typographical cheese would make a good scenario!

Sorry for late... Well, beach assault sounds good, but I thought (for a time) to a Creta 1941 "Operation Mercury"... however , seeing this won't be possible my vote is for Beach assault (2° for Tank). Have a nice time!

Not so fast, the poll is still open! I like idea of a MP beachhead scenario.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

I voted for the Trade idea.

I like to do builder type games as a change of pace from shoot em scenarios.
