    I lie. -2 is actually 2 monts per turn. 6 months per turn should indeed be -6. Check that you have activated scenario mode (under the editor menu).

        I would like to give it a playtest...

        May I humbly suggest that you keep the cities to one style?

        Rome, Genoa, etc - look a bit out of place...

          Ok, I sorted out the year problem. It wasn't becasue of the scenario flag activated, that is activated as soon as you open the cheat menu. It was simply because I looked it in *.sav format, and apparently that only accepts one month per turn, nomatter high the negative turn increment number is...

          But what annoys me the most right now is why all the European cities suddenly became walled, at least by judgning from the graphics in game, but most of them are in reality not walled Can anyone open the sav and check that out for me?

            Do you have the Great Wall wonder somewhere? If you did, that would "wall" up cities without any of them having actual city walls.

                  That's because when you saved the file you've been working with, you did so as a .sav, and then you loaded the sav file. When you do that, the 'Activate Scenario mode' is gets disabled (yet any changes made remain). That's why any changes you made didn't effect the game.

                  Look at this: I loaded the 'tutorial' sav that comes with Chiv2, cheated in some units and changed the turn interval, then saved it (as a sav again). It never saw .scn format.

                        Achtung Playtesters!

                        In the last minute I added a new wonder. What I didn't do was to remove the tech that it prerequed from civs that already had that tech, as this was a civ specific wonder later down the tech tree. Anyway, this *.scn sorts this bug out..
