      What would units represent, regiments?

      In terms of artillery, why not just make the cannons aircraft carriers instead of subs? you don;t have to worry about the issue of seeing subs.

        @GePap:
        It han't even come to the drawing board yet, so I havn't decided yet. But with you guys kicking my lazy arse ahead, I'll get on it right away

        Pablo provided me with this 3D map today, which will be a great source for unit placement. I'm still in the lookout for a good above angled map, so I can draw the civ-map as detailed as possible.

              Point taken, but I don't think many of the OT'ers and vanilla civ posters play scenarios. Could be wrong though. I just think it's high time we all switched to ToT - 'everyone' seems to have it and it's far and away the best version of civ2, so why not use it's additional features? You're a far more experienced scenario designer than me, but even I've started using it for my feeble attempt at a scenario. Everything is familiar from my abortive attempts at MGE scenario design as I never used the in-game editor anyway.

              BTW, the advanced unit stuff is fairly easy (if you know which order civs are listed the units_advanced part of the rules file ). The individual sound slots are assigned in the last part of rules.txt, the additional events macros are explained in the macro.txt file in the ToT directory and the huge potential of the graphics is readily apparent.

                  I haven't gone to get Waterloo yet, and the worst part is that the friend that has it came over for an asado last friday (but forgot to bring it). I have to return some videos to him soon, though, so either later today or tomorrow i'll have it.

                    If you want the full-sized ones (these are 250 KB, the originals are around 450), I'll be happy to send them if you provide an e-mail adress.

                      Only 10 months late for these

                      If your still serious about completing this after the Desert War scenario Eivind, I'll make up some Prussians, Dutch-Belgians, Hanoverians and Brunswickers to complete the Allied forces.

                      Same rules apply as the Brits: please don't recycle as 7YW soldiers etc.

                        I never say A if I don't mean B. This woul still be extremely helpful. The library you seem to posess about various historical battles is amazing. Where do you get them all?

                        I thought you gave up on me when I chose MGE, Gareth. Cheers x100! These units are absolutely brilliant! I'll certainly look to this when finishing the Desert War.
