Question for mods - Who stole the threads?

I was trying to find some info that I think was posted around March - April time 2003 and it appears that all threads from mid-March to mid April are missing. I initially looked up my own posts for that period, and then tried another guy who posted in the thread I was after and both drew a blank. Leo, Mercator: Any ideas what happened to those missing posts?

It would appear that 3,297 threads have been moved to the archive section. Are you saying that the thread you're looking for didn't make it?

MarkG archived a whole bunch of stuff recently (which was one of the reasons of the forum slowdown, I believe), so I would assume you can find it in the archives:
