  • I need civ2 (with FW) cds

I had my own, but it seems I've lost them when I was moving my stuff from my previous accomodation last summer. Well, I can play without them, but I can't install it on a new computer without them.
I WON'T BUY NEW ONES. First - it is not possible, there is only ToT in shops (and this cd I've lost earlier in fact),
and secondly, I can not afford it, and last not least - it's not fair. I've already paid ones.
So, perhaps one of You (STEEEEEEEFFFFFAAAAANNNN!!! JORRRIIIIT!!!!)
will be so kind and lend me them by sending on my adress. I'll send it back right away, and in case it's someone whose adress I didn't know earlier, I'll burn it and forget.
    PLEASE

Send me a mail with your current adress (I lost yours, sorry) and I'll send you mine, or I'll send you burned copies right away, whichever you like better.
All my CD's are quite scratched, howver, except for the Multiplayer one. It includes all patches but no editors or scenarios.
Only problem, they will be all in German, and, although I can mail you the English text files, the menues and all will still be in German If Jorrit has an English copy, maybe he will be more helpful.

Ahem... I understand your situation, and I know I can trust you (in contrast with the occasional newbies who ask this question) but that doesn't make this any less illegal.

In fact, this sort of thing isn't condoned by Apolyton. I might even have to close this thread to prevent the appearance of any more inevitably illegal suggestions.

You lost your copies, sorry, bad luck. Buy new copies and don't lose them again. We can use some more ToT designers anyway.

Not to mention the cost of mailing CD's back and forth can't be much more expensive than buying that copy of ToT in the store.

Well, a tip bordering on the illegal, you should be able to "install" Civ2 simply by copying your civ2 folder to another computer.

Herreson: You can buy 2nd-hand ones through Amazon for about $5 I think. I was in the same situation recently when I mislayed my ToT disk, but replaced it for $2.50 through Amazon; delivery was less than 1 week...

Don't I have to have a credit card to buy staff at Amazon?

Looks like you're right, unless you want to pay various kinds of charges: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...019564-1270564

There also doesn't seem to be a good auction at ebay for the moment.
