I'll wait with curiosity the development of your project, I was sure your objective was an original work, so ... up the irons!
Btw, I hope in future you'll give a chance to play Romans or other tribes in your scenario: to conquest the empire OR to defend it quite hopelessy from the barbarian, almost to make his fall come later... Play as Attila will be good, but I think Aetius won't be so bad...
    Bye!

Upon hearing that civ line-up, this scenario sounds exciting!

Playing as one side of the West/East empire and helping each faction survive will be great!

A real Dance of Death, to be sure! (pun intended!)

I like the idea (playing as the Huns). Not like the other "Fall of Rome" scenarios.

Allrighty then... here's the first draft of civs:

          Huns
          West Romans
          East Romans
          Ostrogoths
          Alans
          Germans (Gepids, Visigoths etc)
          Burgundians

All others would be Barbarians. The Huns will be the only playable civ.

I'm glad you finally accepted my idea of creating a "fall of Rome" scenario (yes, it was mine ). I'll be expecting it becaus i'm sure it will be fantastic.

I really like the idea of playing on the side of the Huns Stefan! If you need some playtesting or advise feel free to ask me. Unfortunately I don't have any useful ideas right now however, your SCN sure sounds like an interesting project!

BTW, do you already have a map?

I'm not very far yet, and I unfortunately don't have as much time as I hoped, because I failed my maths exam. I'll have to prepare for orals in maths now, but I've got ~4 weeks for that.
Officially, of course, I don't know that yet, but I know...

Still, I have shiploads of time, because there's nothing else to prepare for (I hope ).

Great, finally something that ISN'T about WW2!
Will the scenario end in 453 A.D., or will the hunnic player be given the option to win at Nedao river and save his empire?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the scenario, can't wait to make the Romans Run for the Hills.

Mmm beating Aetius at the Catalaunian fields would be a challenge methinks

I like the idea of this scenario, keep up the good work

                                Alright people, I'll be honest.
I haven't had time to work on this scenario during the last month. As I said earlier, I first failed my maths exams, so I had to go into orals. What added up to it was that, a day before I officially got the grades (last Sunday), I had also failed the written Biology and Chemics exams. It's a very difficult thing to explain, but I'll try.
My school is a private school. The government of Bavaria, the territory I live in, has a discriminatory policy towards private schools. While the official system is that you get your final gradess during the course of the last two years, and then do written and oral exams which will be added to these marks (four subjects, BTW), in private schools it's like this: The only marks you get are from the written exams. You write one test in each of eight (in my case even nine) subjects. There are fifteen points, you may not go below one point (point is equal to "mark" or "grade"). There are three blocks, the upper two (in my case three) subjects, two further subjects and four lower subjects. In the first block, you need to get a total of 120 points (the marks are multiplied by 12), added to the next two subjects, they had to be 200. Combined with the lowest four, it had to be a total of 280 points, while you had to reach 80 points in the lowest block and must not have more than two marks below five points.
Now what happened was that my total was 369 points, i.e. much more than enough. I had 308 in the upper two blocks, but had 0 points in maths, which was among these subjects, so I already failed. It is possible to give it a second try in oral exams, and that was what I prepared for.
Later, I was informed that I had only 71 points in the lowest block, and only one subject above 5 points. So, I had to go in orals in both Chemics or Biology. I couldn't go in the two lowest subjects, French and Geography.
If I reached 9 points in Biology, I wouldn't have to go in Chemics (a "special" arrangement).
So, yesterday, I went into orals in Biology and got the nine points, and today I went into orals in Maths, and I got two points; I was told this is enough (I always thought I had to reach three points, but it as double- and triple-checked).

Point of this incomprehensible story: I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                Or, in puns:
                                Not a prisoner... I'm a free man!
No more school- No More Lies!

                                Sorry. Couldn't resist

That means that I can now continue work on the scenario.

By the way, check this out: I got 14 points (of 15) in English, the subject with the heaviest weight of all, and 0 in Maths (originally). I got 9 in history and 2 in Chemics.
                                Can you spot a trend?
