      • @work:

The bad news - Calling tech support on the DSL tonight. The damn thing keeps crashing Explorer...

The good news - After returning from business I've brought everything up to playtest standards. I just have to do some test runs and things will be ready to go.

        I'll keep you posted.

        • Here's a second version of the title Harry if its not to late. I added more pictures and tried to simulate some scratches and dust on the negatives.

At the same time the crappy old Civ II game engine allows only really poor screen resolution and the 256 colour pallet. So I hope the quality doesn't take away from what the image should be.

          • BTW Curt, I have a friend who is a comic book artist, he was very impressed with your evil sheriff. He wanted to know if you have your own website where you showcase your comic illustrations.

Now that he mentions it I'd like to see such a site myself.

                • Say Harry, would you mind if I borrowed the three women character units in the unit.gif to use to make an updated Women's Sufferage Icon for a graphical update I'm working on?

                    • Update:

I've been rough testing the scenario for about a week now and there are just one or two bugs to finish working out. Nothing big, just stuff I can do while my DSL is down.

Expect a playtest as soon as I can connect to my personal computer because this scenario is perfectly OK for a forum playtest.

I have been itching to see this one.

design genius you created with the tactical scen from Atomic Eagle!

I only just got a chance to play it...
No-one has done anything so cool with the civ graphics!

                        Grand work!

                        • Thanks Curt. It was a fun idea I wanted to try out. Finding new ways to work with the Civ2 engine is one of my favorite things to do. I hope that this sort of experimentation opens up new ideas for scenario designing.

Oh and Sarsstock, the colors in the title screen work just fine. I was just able to test it out and there is no color distortion whatsoever. Very nice job. Thanks.
