    Sorry, had classes to go to. To take it up where I left off:

    Knaves/Courtiers-diplomatic and spy units.
    Merchants-Freight
    Nobles-expensive, slow, and weak, but the only normal unit that can take over enemy cities.
    All three of them must be "escorted" (carried) by the leader of each faction, who is a unique unit. Master Penth is one of them; he's the selected unit in the last screenshot.
    There are also immobile "fortress" units to guard cities, plus each faction has two unique units, one of which is designed to let the civ take cities without its leader, in case the leader should be killed. But those have to be researched. I wanted it to play something like a game of chess-you have to balance between effective use of the leader and keeping him safe so you can continue using him in the future.
    The conceit is kinda weak, but the idea is that horses and elderly magicians can't scramble over hills and through dense woods, and courtiers, merchants, etc. refuse to venture out into the open unescorted.
