Sure, I'd be honoured to have it on the site.

-I don't know if the island in 93,5 is supposed to be Kronstadt (should be closer to Leningrad) or Seiskari (the position is correct but it's a tiny island). If it's Seiskari it should be Finnish.
    -Daugavpils should be Latvian.

    Sorry to be nitpicking.
Thank you for the nitpicking - all feedback is good, especially the kind which stops me from looking like an ignoramus

I'll make all those changes. The island is ment to be Kronstant, and it's where it is because I didn't want it to be accessable from the land.

    Sappers are combat engineers.

    Minor things:
    Liepzig should be Leipzig
    and Koingsberg should be Königsberg
Thanks. I knew that Königsberg was spelled incorectly, but I'm too dumb to know how to add umlats

      Great job Nick

I could offer tons of tweaked units and other graphics for the next version. If you want/need them just give me a ring, won´t you?

      Great effort, again

Since we're talking city names, the place you have called 'Kingston' (Kingston-upon-Hull) is always referred to as Hull.

No, the geordies are a bit further north, in Newcastle. Hullites are basically Yorkshireman (ie rude and tight with their money )

Sure, I'll definetly keep that in mind

However, I rather like all the graphics at the moment Which ones do you sugest that I change?

On a related topic, I'm not wedded to keeping all the current units. If you don't like any of them or think that others are more deserving of inclusion, please let me know. Replacing all the civ-specific units with more generic units is certainly on the cards, as is adding more civ-specific French and Italian units in the place of some of the British and German specific units.

Yep, that's what I thought when I saw it. However, I'm sure that there's some ALT+NUMBER code I can punch in to my keyboard to get umlats if it comes to it.

I'm playing as Italy (emperor level) and I'm following an hystorical tech path, being in mid-'39 researching the first monoplane fighter. I'm astonished to see Germany and France with jet fighters .
My opponents seems to research 10 times faster than me. Is it all right?

P.S. Caio Duilio movement is set to 4 while King George V is set to 10; sounds odd.

P.P.S You should substitute Caio Duilio class battleships (that were WWI capital ships extensively rebuilt) with Vittorio Veneto class (actually in service in 1940). I'll make the unit for you if you need it

No, That's rather weird. While the Italians should lag behind the French and Germans, the difference shouldn't be that big! Tech progress is intentionally meant to be quick, but I may have gone overboard.

Argh! I thought that I'd fixed all those problems.

I chose the Caio Duilios on the grounds that they were, in my opinion, the best ships Italy had during most of the scenarios timeframe. From memory, their rebuilds were very succesful (much as the upgraded British Queen Elizabeth class were still some of the best ships afloat in 1939).

That just about sums it up really

As Paul Hanson says, there's nothing romantic about Hull!

As you mentioned mental images of British towns, I recently had my preconceptions about Australia sadly dashed. I thought it was all fantastic beaches with 20-foot surf, Baywatch-types and sharks. Oh and the sun always shines. I got off the plane in Melbourne and it peed with rain for the next week. Things were looking up on the weather front when I arrived in Sydney a week later until, but Bondi beach was a huge disappointment. It reminded me of Skegness here in Britain. But warmer I'm convinced the sharks are a myth as well

                              Apologies for this being OT

@ Nick: I was not talking about the generic or non-generic units but about the graphics itself. I can only speak for myself but fairline did the best (unit) graphics out there, imho.

If you need some of them ask him! I have tweaked some myself for my projects ... just gimme a ring if you want to see them!
