weekday games

who's around for a continuing weekday/night game? I'm around most nights {+10GMT} during the week, which I guess is day for a lot of you americans or europeans. I want a serious continuing 1x1x deity game, with 4-6 players. Anyone interested?

i can play, but cant commit to every weekday night, as my rotating shift cycle would interfer ...

i could play too....the last time i tried to do one of these types of games tho, there were always connections, lateness, forgetfullness etc getting in the way.

if were only going to play for 2-3hrs at a time, then people must be there, as soon as someone bails, i am not going to keep playing. I have seen to many games degenerate into all sorts of nonsense.

I can commit one night a week, mon-thur anytime from 5pms PST on i think.

keep me in the mix, i have been trying to play week night games for a bit b/c my schedual on the weekends is busy.

keep in mind i am very rusty too, having not really played much in the last year+

And I'm with you war, I want a firm commitment from players. i can make any weeknite starting at 8pm est - 5pm wartime - 11am aussietime

someone pick a day tho, b/c i can do any of those days so long as i know in advance, and i must reiterate, no funny buisiness. I can't stand subbing, and i am sure most people don't like subs either, even if it spices up some diplo games

And I agree with the commitment factor too. Starting next week wednesday is good for me - I guess that's tuesday night for you guys. I'd like sessions of 3 hours +, Rah rules {except for the settings}and a world map would be interesting {but I'm flexible on the map}.

You mean thursday or friday our time... I could do thursday if it means you're in the game. Fridays I definitely can't commit to.

ll make some proposals and lets see if everyone agrees.

Lets start next wednesday at 8pm est i think that is 5pm for war and 11am for the aussies thurs morning. (Please confirm your own times). I could play for 4 hours.

RAH's rules except:

1x1x deity
Oracle un-modified
any player can call for one restart on or prior to 3500bc (Since this is going to be a long game lets make sure everyone has at least a livable start)
50x70 map
wet cool small archs 3 billion random
no cooperation between players

those are my suggestions. If anyone would like to suggest something different post it here and lets try and get it decided by wednesday.

Time and day works, interesting addition with the restart but we'll play it to see how it goes.
No co-operation between players? I take it you mean no alliances formed out of game, surely inside the game we're allowed to make mutually beneficial deals.
50 x 70 map might be a bit large, lets hold on the size till we see how many confirmed players we have.

all things look good from this angle. As far as alliances go, are we to have no contact with the other player? We really better nail down what ever rule is to come of this to make sure there are NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS
