Yes indeed, George Bernard Shaw. Although the words I had in mind came from Lerner and Loewe, I'm fairly sure the same idea was expressed in Pygmalion.

Still I feel to be lost when debeest starts to use some less frequent words...

ST, I have to take that seriously, because you used a sad smiley, and I know you don't use smileys when you're joking.... So I'll translate, in case I really have overestimated your English skills: "You're speaking pretty darned well for foreigners."

Stilll waiting for a challenger.... nobody wants to try?

samson may be the best player of all time, but he is not on the throne any more ! IMHO, ST might claim the throne, except he doesn't play often. Just one PBEM, in which he begged us all to save him from Assyria

[Edited to de-capitalize "Samson" for Monk... is this correct? Now I am also getting confused about English]

debeest, yes, you overestimated my skills. For example I translated furriners to beginners.
You see I feel rather a beginner Civ2 player than a non-native english speaker.

            Peaster, wait couple of weeks...
