I downloaded the demo to see if this game was worth playing, and it exited after an hour telling me I now had to buy the game. A one-hour trial period of a huge game? That's just nuts.

Well, it's kinda hard to put limits on a turn-based strategy game. For instance, an experienced player playing and OCC game on a small map would go pretty quick...
They probably went a little overboard in making sure you can't possibly enjoy a full game with the demo, let alone more than one.
So it's just a way of getting a glimpse of the game (more than just a few screenshots) and hoping some people will buy it, considering it's a fairly cheap download. -
$15 is too much considering I've already spent $100+ on the Civ series though, and I'm only looking for a small diversion. Ho hum, that's life.Comment
