Ayudenme a elegir mascota!!!

Estaba boludeando un poco por la pagina oficial de los juegos olimpicos y debido a un tema de investigacion de cantidad de medallas obtenidas por la URSS y USA me empece a topar con las "grandiosas" mascotas de los pasados juegos olimpicos

Hay cosas increibles... uno no sabe si reir, llorar o matar a las grandes mentes que crearon toda clase de abominaciones.
En fin, se me ocurrio que podia compartir con ustedes los "geniales" diseños de las mascotas y que me ayuden a elegir la "mas bonita"

WALDI MUNICH 1972
Un perro enfundado en los colores de la bandera gay


"Waldi", the dachshund. Very popular in Bavaria, but he also possesses qualities which are indispensable to an athlete : resistance, tenacity and agility. These are among the reasons he was chosen to be the mascot. He was dressed in pastel colours to express the gaiety and joy of the Olympic festival.



AMIK MONTREAL 1976
Un castor negro con una banda roja?


It was a beaver called “Amik”, a name taken from the Algonquian language, which is the most popular language amongst the American Indians in Canada. “Amik” means beaver. The beaver was chosen as the mascot of the Montreal Games because it is an animal well-known for its patience and hard work. Indeed, it had an important role in the development of Canada during the period when furriery was one of the foremost activities in North America. The beaver is also the national symbol of Canada and can be found on some coins and stamps.
The mascot has a red belt with the emblem of the Games, symbolizing the ribbon to which the winners’ medal is attached.

SAM LOS ANGELES 1984

The eagle "Sam" became the mascot of the Los Angeles Games. He was chosen because the imposing bald eagle is the national symbol of the United States. Robert Moore and his associates from Walt Disney Productions selected the eagle, and "Sam’s" design was targeted to appeal to children.

Tigre fiestero!! que tiene en la cabeza?


"Hodori" portrays the friendly side of a tiger, which is present in many Korean legends.



COBI BARCELONA 1992
Eso es un perro? con traje? y riendose?


The Valencian artist, Javier Mariscal, created the dog "Cobi" as official mascot of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.



IZZY ATLANTA 1996
Podrian decirme que estuvieron fumando los creadores de esta cosa?


It was an amorphous abstract fantasy figure. It carried the name "Izzy", derived from "Whatizit?" because no one seemed to know exactly what "Izzy" really was. He changed his appearance several times after the closing ceremony in Barcelona in 1992. Over time he grew a mouth where only lips had existed, he added stars in his eyes, bulked up and gained muscles in his previously spindly legs, and eventually sprouted a nose.



OLLY, SYD Y MILLIE SYDNEY 200
A falta de un bicho, ahora me ponen tres...


"Olly", a kookaburra, "Syd", a platypus; and "Millie", an echidna, are three native animals chosen as mascots for the Sydney 2000 Games. These Australian animals represent the earth, air and water.
"Olly": epitomises the Olympic spirit of generosity and universal generosity (from Olympic).
"Syd": represents the environment and captures the vigour and energy of Australia and its people (from Sydney).
"Millie": is a techno-whiz and information guru, with all the facts and figures at her fingertips (from Millennium).



ATHENA Y PHEVOS ATENAS 2004

Phevos and Athena are brother and sister and the official ATHENS 2004 Mascots. Their creation was inspired by an ancient Greek doll and their names are linked to ancient Greece. And yet the two siblings are children of modern times.

La otra opcion seria Hodori pero la verdad se parece demasiado al Tigre Toño de las Zucaritas para ser realmente original.

Teniendo en cuenta tu capacidad para crear/editar imagenes preciosas te tiro una idea...

Estaba hablando con amidala y UH, y nos parece que el osito ruso podria quedar mas lindo con un vaso de vodka en la mano, un gorrito con la hoz y el martillo puesto de costado (al estilo yanqui) o un bigote a lo stalin.
