I'm not sure whether Keygen can change the turn timer during the game or not; you'd have to ask him. (There is probably some way I could access his session running on the server, but I don't know exactly how to do it and that's probably just fine for the sake of the integrity of the game.)
The 48 hour timer seems like it has been working pretty well so far; people seem to check their email and play their turns well within the limit. Were you thinking it should be increased or decreased?

Turn 14/15 (3480/3440 BC) played.
I am not sure if the turn limit can be changed, certainly not with the traditional way (saving and restarting PitBoss) but might be done via altering the "CivilizationIV.ini". I will run some tests locally (not in DrDeke's server) and fortunately will come up with some results.
Nonetheless the 48-hour limit has been globally accepted prior to game initialization and it will remain that way. In special occasions we can stop PitBoss and restart it anytime or DrDeke can pause the virtual machine that hosts PitBoss.
