I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. In Canada, we honour our fallen on Remembrance Day, November 11th.
The Aussies, Kiwis and Canucks shared many of the same battles and fronts.

We also celebrate Remembrance Day in Australia, but it's not a public holiday as Anzac Day is. One minutes silence on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we shall remember them. Personally I think we should trade one of our meaningless holidays, like the Queen's Birthday holiday and have Remembrance Day instead. Although I also think we should remember them every day. Every time we're able to do anything is because of their sacrifice.Comment
