    Reinstalling Anno 1701 didn't help. Warlords still wouldn't start.

    I must confess, I'm at my wit's end. I'll post somewhere else in this forum, maybe the problem sounds familiar to anyone.

      Goood news everyone, I finally got it running. Installing a nocd patch killed the error message.

      And more good news, rumpo kid's suspected-to-be corrupted file worked fine, at least until now.

      Result: Turn has finally been sent to Sebastian. Let's wait for further akward happenings.
