I do not live in London, I live in South London. South London is different, a warm melting pot where everyone can become a bona fide South Londoner by virtue of two things. One: living in South London, and two: having no aspiration to live in the Cotswolds.

Damned wierdest thing. The save opens and plays fine but just refuses to complete the turn. It gets stuck at the "Waiting for other Civilizations" stage and refuses to move any further. I'd be grateful if Lord High Ralphie of Marooned would resend his save, then we will see what can be done.I do not live in London, I live in South London. Sorry about the delay guys (bonfire night and drinkies).
The resent save is still not working so I've asked Sir Ralph to replay and resend the game. My fingers are crossed.I do not live in London, I live in South London. Very odd - the replayed and resent game still does not work. The previous save seems to work fine so I suggest I replay that and send it to Claus and we go one more turn round the roundabout - lets see if that fixes it. Let me know what you think.I do not live in London, I live in South London. South London is different, a warm melting pot where everyone can become a bona fide South Londoner by virtue of two things. That's totally strange ... Guess what, I can't start Warlords any more. This seems to have nothing to do with rumpo's file, it just happens that on double-klicking the icon the program tells me to insert the correct CD-ROM, but it already is in the DVD drive. Sounds like a copy protection bug, totally out of the blue.
Unfortunately, I'll be out for the next couple of hours. I'll see what I can do in the evening.

Sorry, I'm still trying to figure out why my Warlords installation wouldn't start any more. The other posts I suppose your reffering to are concerning a normal CivIV game (not Warlords extension), which is still running without problems.
Thing I'm trying now is to re-insall the Anno 1701 demo which I had on my machine last week and which I deleted a couple of days ago. The uninstall routine told me something about a copy protection driver. The problem is, I deleted the demo file from my hard disk, so I first have to reload it from the internet (ca 900 MB).
