And I'm actually a Belgian, but I don't know how exact that is.
About the scam thing, let me enlighten: I once toured to the Bodenmeer, and had to change traveler cheques (in German marks at the time) in a bank in Germany and a moneychange office in Kreuzlingen just on Swiss territory. Despite the changing from Marks to Shillings and back I still had more cash then directly changing another travel cheque in a German bank.
Small wonder my naming of German banks.

odd... but that's just due to miserable exchange rates, not scams


regarding the game: my scouts have now walked around nearly every point (except very polar) of the coast looking into the sea: it seems to me that we won't meet until optics or so.
also: my continent goes from ice pole to ice pole so no way of circumnavigating the globe without a 1-tile city. is it the same for your continent?

i'm saying and asking this because i presume this info is all quite non-material for victory...
