Had to replay my turn, for some reason it didn't popup in the game folder.

Sent now (and I don't mean the empty one, that was the one where I only afterwards noticed the 755bc was AWOL )

lucky that ragnar sent in his scout on a suicide mission against one of the barbs. that means i can try to take out one next turn with my archer and if i'm lucky the wounded (0.2HP) barb will move onto my resource tile so i can collect another XP on my way home

but then again it could go ALL wrong and the barb could win and the other would sack my capital

now here's something else i wasn't aware of: barbarians can promote too
he's now up to 1.1 strength. but that's ok - it might even give my archer another 2 XPs

Ok, I'll play this one because it arrived before 10PM (I have to be at work in nine hours, and already skipped sleep the last two nights)

So I saw. I *really* wonder how the game counts this stuff. Victories don't add, my last unit production didn't add. What does then besides new cities and research?

as i said earlier: check out your score by putting your mouse over it.

population + land + tech + wonders (incl. national wonders)

and other things regarding the points system: it does not weigh potential at all. for instance:

our borders had expanded 3 times. from 9 tiles, then 21 tiles, then about 35 tiles and now i guess 55 tiles. and let's say our city size was size 4.

now if we found a new city, we get a mere 9 tiles (so 9 points) and 1 population point more (another 4-5 points) ... so it's really just a small fraction, even though the city existence POTENTIAL is quite big (considering it can build stuff, defend better, grab land/resources).

anyhow, doesn't matter... i just wanted to point out how irrellevant points can be. 13 points for a new city is less than the 2nd border expansion!
