well THAT, and also because i am boxed in between ocean (west), montezuma (east), tokugawa (south) and jungle (north). the only thing i could change was the jungle, which now is settled.

the only space left are 1-tile islands off from my continent and land around krazy, which i won't settle any more because he's not too well off with area.

lumpy: when you open your turn, hover your mouse over your score... you'll see the breakdown of your scores. what is the "land" part of it? that'll give you an estimate of your space. mine was 154 points... more to follow when the great artist "bombs"

Question for the expert: How come when I built a new city, my gpt dropped 8 but the city is only 3g maintenance?

maintenance per city goes up according to the total number of cities you have. So because you built one new city, ALL your cities started costing a little bit more to maintain

ah, how i love the culture bombs in certain situations

qui was incredibly idiotic this turn: he had an UNESCORTED settler heading towards where i wanted to build my own city eventually. right next to my maceman. and to top that he also cancelled the open borders treaty. so i just HAD to bop the settler for a free worker.

lumpy: my will be pushed back by yours. rest assured that i won't expand any further south than now. there's also a cattle/banana which i'll be happy to let you have. the only reason for my city on kombongia are the 4 resources i get up here
