Are we not bothering with double moves in a war btw? I've declared on Janis but he's done two moves in a row. Just wondering what the rules are on this?

As long as the clock is not run down low, two moves in a row during a war is not acceptable from my understanding. Really each player should do one move about the same hour each day, so game goes on as a move every 24 hours.

And are there any rules regarding gifting off cities to a 3rd party during a war? My units were beside a city that was then gifted to Evalds, so I've now had to declare war on him as well.

Did you really have to declare war on Evalds?

well I can't get the city otherwise and can't attack Janis' troops as I don't have OB with Evalds. sneaky move!

Gifting of cities was not discussed or anticipated. It is not an action I would take.
Kaleb I hope you succeed in taking the city and create further damage to those who try to use loopholes etc to hinder a wars progress.
