    Remember that EOT autosaves are in the MP directory in warlords, not in the PTBS directory. That changed in BtS, fortunately, but it is still the old way in Warlords.

    \saves\mp\auto\

    inside the My Games\Warlords\ or whatever directory.

          When I get my server back and running I have a file I can possibly use (a Beta autosave). Dacole didn't see a useful normal autosave, unfortunately; I have no idea how that could happen, as it seems like it ought to be very current. But who knows.

              i'm on a business trip and will be back in 48 hours. so it would be great if the game would not restart in the next 24 hours, so i still have time to get in the turn...

                    no idea about snoopy's hosting and dacole's password/file delivery.

                    as for my hosting: the network at home now is pretty much ready and i "just" need to set up the barebone server and copy the C4WL & BTS files necessary. does anybody have a clue which files need to be copied for pitboss? everything except the ART subfolder? are registry entries required?

                    but we still require the savegame and password. does every player automatically have a backup created locally? if so, i'm sure we can find a more appropriate save. if not, we'll have to settle with dacole's newest one...

                      I had problems with Warlords, I expect to (hopefully) resolve those on the week-end. If you are ready by then or shortly thereafter you can go ahead and take it directly

                      You need to fully install Warlords, I believe. You could try it without the reg entries I suppose but I don't recommend it...

                      Beta obtained a backup that should work, he can email it to you or I can dig it up from my email.

                          i managed to recover the autosave after my last turn, which was also the last turn played. but the admin password still is missing.

                          as for the hardware: my server was hacked, i'm reinstalling it from scratch again.

                          and a technical question: how can i program my router to redirect logins to the pitboss to one machine, while still allowing me to play and access from my gamer machine? it's a LinkSys WRT54GL.

                            ready...

                            hey lads,

                            i'm pretty much ready from my side.
                            over the course of the next weeks i will be doing some upgrades to my network, but for the most of the time, i'll be around.

                            i still need the admin password from dacole, before i can start hosting. and i still need some instruction on port forwarding (which ports need to be routed, etc).
