If you're going to use DirectIP, you *must* use DynDNS. It is way too much of a hassle otherwise for all of us...

I didn't get a PM anyway with the IP, and missed my turn last turn... I don't mind as I had a few turns queued up, but I will mind pretty soon

Well, when you do have time, it's not really new software per se, there's a little tray app but it basically works by itself... www.dyndns.com and create an account there, pick a DNS address, and install the little tray app

ok you were right that didn't take long. you can now use dacole.dnsdojo.org someone check this and make sure it works for you. The same IP should still work as well.

ok computer rebooted sorry reloaded from latest save. Not sure why it keeps rebooting itself annoying. Anyway check the game you may need to redo a turn. There are nine hours left before the turn changes. Actually roth is the only one who needs to play a turn looks like.

Now it works. But I think we have do to atleast more than 2 turns over. (not that horrible)

fortunatly on "islands" maps there is no harm done in this early stage from missed huts, missed contacts, etc.

edit: and as nobody has workers around by now which would idly stand around it's not so bad.
nonetheless... in just a few turns it WOULD matter!

Sigh, I just hope it doesn't do that when the turns DO matter more. I'll obviously miss this turn since it will be 12 hours from now before I have a chance to play.

So we're going back a few turns then, not just one? I hope that doesn't mess me up.
