Ahhh, Fins... sorry.
At any rate, this pitboss thing has me wanting to pull my hair out. What is worse, is that i have yet to find a difinitive instruction manual.
I got it running (i think, lol). But now what?
Do i try to connect to my own IP? I get a timeout message when i do this.
Do i load the pitboss autosaved game? I tried this and i seemed to be able to get in, but it did not hold me to the turn timer. I could just keep taking turns regardless of the fact that no one else had even signed in yet. Do i need to take one turn then save it? I am totally confused.
Anyone familar with the ins and outs of hosting one of these please give me SPECIFIC details on how it is done. A link to some sort of manual would be just as good. Whoever wrote the firaxis instructions for pitboss in the book should be shot. It details all the stuff that the program walks you through (duh) and then leaves you hangin at the point where the program lets go of your hand.
(I used to write operators manuals, so maybe im a bit bias)
