Spanish troops advance to try and take back Barcelona, I withdraw everyone into the city to defend and upgrade whoever I can.

Spanish troops let their emotions overwhelm them and they try attacking the heavily guarded city. Every attacker is dropped by our defenders! Complete failure by Spain... they lose 6 units.

Another wave of Spanish attacks. We destroy 4 attackers but this time our valiant cavalry is killed- simply too injured

In the far south I tried to land a few units to pillage the Spanish iron source to stop them producing Conquistadors but the galley was approached and blocked by a Caravel, so I landed the troops near Zaragoza. I didn't think they could but they managed to capture that town Great display of heroism, these troops should be awarded a bronze star.

- Ollantaytambo finsihes Galleon. Rifleman in 5 turns.

- Barcelona forces jockey for positions around Seville (while ducking Spanish catapult attacks). lol

- Spent moving forces around the battlefield.

1810 AD -

- Galleon starts dropping-off fresh troops from our mainland onto Spanish territory.

1812 AD -

- GREAT ENGINEER Born in Cuzco. Did not use him since Globe Theatre will be completed in 2 turns. Put him to sleep in Cuzco.

- Forces continue to jockey around Seville.


SCIENCE: 70% CHEMISTY in 2 Turns.

LUXURY: 20% (this does help with unhappiness)

- Troop movements, the army between Cordoba and Sevilla is attacked by a catapult, but at least dear Bella is without iron from now on.

- Cyrus asks us to join his quarrel with Alex, one war is plenty for me tho.

I promptly rename it to John Massis, the name of a legendary strong man here who could move a train with his teeth.

- A second Caravel (coming from Cordoba) is sunk by the John Massis. Alot more damage this time and the Galleon is ordered to Zaragoza for repairs.
- Confucianism brought to Argos.

- Isabella feals the heat building up, and offers peace. I tell her to stuff it.
- Scientific Method discovered, going for Physics now. (12 turns)
The good news is that we have oil within our borders, the bad that it lays east of The Point. We need Bella's butt now, she has oil in the south.

- And then it's training time for our army around Sevilla. Without a single loss we take the city and the worker in it.

- The army is once more on the move and some of our troopers are upgraded in Sevilla. I propose NOT to upgrade some of them till they have 17 XP (those between 12-->17 XP atm).
- I also propose to lay siege on Madrid first. It will give us some cultural breathing space.
