Actually, having a lot of barbs was sort of the idea for this game. Though if you don't like that, we can reduce their number. If so, I'll start a new game tomorrow, as today I will be moving back to the university.

Alright, I have restarted the game. I removed the 'no mods' option, and also changed the set up so now we have four rival teams of two players each, and we are playing on a huge terra map. The raging barbs are still in!
This time around, we are England and America, stuck in the opposite sides of the continent. (Or more like, you are somewhere in the center, and I am on the southern tip.) This is something of a slightly unlucky draw, because we both start with the same two techs, and so altogether our team started with two techs, where we could possibly have four. Oh well, we'll win any way.
Hut gives us a map of the surrounding area. Not too useful, as it is all sea! However, as the borders of London have expanded, there is another hut in sight.
