OK, let me rephrase, I know nothing about modern era!

Apparently, Infantry cannot be upgraded to Marines - they upgrade to SAM Infantry and Mech Infantry.

Indeed, and speaking of learning, as first Navy SEALS are ready for battle, we hope that with all the northern lands that the Germans and Egyptians have, they have't learned many SEAL CLUBBING skills!

Good stuff.

So our intelligence shows that both Germans and Egyptians have two or three cities each that are quite well protected, and the rest can fall easily. So... I figure when we have built up the troops, if you attack North towards Hamburg, and I attack South towards Munich, they would probably split their troops, and we will be able to take a couple cities and dig in before their reinforcements arrive. Then, once their attack force is spent, we both converge on Berlin. I could also probably take Frankfurt on the very first turn of the war, with enough bombers, because SEALs can attack off of transports without any penalty.

OR we could combine our forces, stationed in Boston and both of us strike Berlin at once. The thing about that plan is, we would spend a bunch of time marching towards Berlin, and they can put a lot of their forces in there. Of course, it might not matter if we both coordinate our attack and hit them the same turn. That would split the German empire in half and make it harder for them to move reinforcements between northern and southern cities. Indeed, if we manage to hit Elephantine after that, we would cut off the Egyptians' oil supply.

Got the tech. I think I'm done for the night, too, early quantum mechanics exam tomorrow. Good progress today. Who knows, maybe tomorrow will be a good day to start us another war?

Right so I was taking the final in the morning and then celebrating the fact that all hard exams are over, and then sleeping. So now that I am awake, I'm ready to continue. Hope you don't mind the delay.

We have entered modern era!

On to research rocketry so we can start on the spaceship somewhere, if need be.

Other than that, nothing much interesting going on. Just building more troops, and in some places - airports so we can do airlifting between the old world and the new.

Now, if you could get artillery, that would be useful, as that would give us better bombing units.
