I guess it's going to be a little tedious for the first 15-20 turns until you have a decent network of cities to manage, but I enjoyed a lot my first turn
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

you think you'll have several settlers out by 15-20 turns?

the early stage is great... especially when the barbarians come along. maybe we should be kind on each other until they are "controlled"

I always come in peace, at least in the beginning.

I look at this pretty relaxed. A turn a day or every second day is cool for me. I guess it'll get a little slower during christmas since some people might be visiting family and stuff, but I don't mind. I mean I have other stuff to do and I play SP Civ games or Internet Civ as well so I don't mind that this game is progressing slowly at first.

With raging barbarians on, there is quite a chance that within the next 5-10 turns we'll be meeting a few animals and by the time most people will have built their second city barbarian attacks starting to appear, so the game won't start to become interesting that late.

I wonder who of you I'll meet first.....

        btw.

thanks for the save Frank, Borders have just expanded and I can start identifying what resoucres I am getting.

(isn't this an awesome way of getting a +1?)

you should have seen people in democracy games and similar. usually someone proposed some one-liner (sometimes explaining it and reasoning for it in another 1-2 lines) and then 20 "yes" or "no" posts came along. now THOSE are cheap +1s

and these here actually help to keep track of the game

bad conscience. i hate delays in a game, especially if it's me. and this game is so fast running so far ( )

anyhow, missed that lunch oportunity. will play at around midnight tonight...

as a friend of mine always says with strong accent: "Easy Going"

Take it easy. No need to miss out on lunch just in order to make a turn for 5 seconds. There will most probably be times when someone goes away for a week or a weekend or we lose an entire day for whatever reason. I think our real lives are more important so I have full respect for that.

However, it's cool for telling everyone that you might cause a delay. I think as long as everyone communicates their delays, its fine
