    Brave New World 2

well, I guess we have no other choice but to restart. I believe it said somewhere in the patch notes that old save games won'T work with the new patch anyway. I don't think its too tragic since we only played about 5 turns so far.

I am sending off the new game right away.

          good news: more +1!
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

by the way, please still keep the last game around for the case that they make it work with another new patch. word on the street (in other PBEM threads) is that they'll have to do it because most games are affected.

if they fix it, we could keep 2 games running at the same time (which is pretty fun )

                  what an awful starting place

my starting position wasn't as good as before. I can see some useable resources in the distance but a quite a bit of desert too.

That's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose, but it seems most people aren't starting on top However I think the first impression can be illusionary. You never know if just behind the first fog there is an oasis of resources or if the second city you build is going to be paradise. At the same time a good starting position might be surrounded by nothing of value and in the end you have 1 good city but all others are crap.

                    sent to wolf btw. enjoy!

well, at least we all have a more or less disappointing starting location. although i must say that it isn't much worse than most games i was in pre-patch. just the previous version of the brave new world was nicer.

                      anyhow, 3950bc to el newell
