Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
1275 BC - The Band has reached the end of the road and have it Felan's Hand, it is pointing to the west. They have turned back and are racing to get around the lands of Isabella before the cultural borders trap them far from home.
1250 BC - Judaism is founded in a distant land.
1225 BC - Cletus was ambused by lions and better then half of the force decimated in a moment. The remainder however managed to kill off all of the lions, earning them a promotion. Unfortunately we have spotted our first barbarian group, Cletus is retreating to the north.
The Settler (named Jay) is done and there is some debate whether to move northwest or southwest. In the end it is decided to head southwest which is not wholly explored but already has much promise with flood plains, hopefully we will get a coastal city to help with trade. The deserts beyond should help reduce the diplomatic problems of crowding. The archer formerly stationed in the capital is named Silent Bob and sent to escort Jay. Washington starts to produce another archer.
1200 BC - Cletus managed to ditch the barbarians and is resting to regain some strength amid some incense.
1175 BC - The knowledge of pottery is complete. As we haven't any knowledge of religion it seems we are destined to pursue science as our religion. Needing some building to provide culture, the Felan II directs his people to learn the secrets of Writing, which will eventually lead to the Calendar.
Some barbarians are passing to the northwest of Cletus, they decide to head to the south to avoid them as they are not yet recovered but stumble into another group of barbarians. Perhaps the will go wreck Peter's lands.
1150 BC - Cletus has perished though it was a close fight. The barbarians that were passing NW of Cletus have turned toward New York, but it is expected that the archers there will have little difficulty defending the city.
We have completed the road from Washington to New York.
1125 BC
Able is building some cottages on a flood plain by New York.
Jay and Silent Bob head south.
1100 BC
The Archer in Washington is completed. Felan II decrees that a barracks should be built to help fight barbarians and possibly the Chinese or Russians.
Cletusville, in remembrance of the brave warriors is founded. With a large number of juicy spots nearby, Cletusville starts building a worker. Not far enough to the south is a Mongolian city that was previousily unknown.
1075 BC
Quietly came and went.
1050 BC
The aging Felan II passes on and the next ruler ascends.
920 BC: start reaserching masonry. Start building pasture on horses by DC. warrior exsplores
900 BC: Open borders with kublai Khan.... (was not shure what to do here hope it was ok) warrior exsplores
880 - 860 BC warrior exsplores:
840 BC: Done with barracks in washington DC. I start work on a archer. Pasture on pigs by New York is Done, i start a road on it. My rule is over for this time over and out
Personally I think Open Borders is a good thing until they start making demands of us.
I would suggest not giving into the demands of an immediate neighbor if it is against a more distant nation. The immediate neighbors tend to eventually build up too much dislike from border tensions anyway. The best option is when you are friendly a nation that is a neighbor of your neighbor but not yours.
