I or we seem to be having email issues. This happend last week to me in another game, sabre, so I suspect it may be my ISP - but other saves and emails are coming in. What happened previously is tha the ISP had somehow tagged the incoming games as junk mail, and shelved them somewhere. Since we are connecting via regular email - attach a copy in a reply to one of my emails. I will get on the phone with the ISP first thing tomorrow. sigh ....

The other option is to post teh save here for now, and I can grab it and get it on its way. What is interesting, is that after that first issue with th eone game, it has been fine ever since.

damn, this is really frustrating! i did a clean reinstall on the weekend. no idea why it's messing it up again

krill, you set up the game... do you have the hotseat hotfix copied into your folder? it was posted ~2 days after the 2.08 release...

ok, so krill has not installed the hotseat hotfix, beta probably neither but i have. in my other games 1-2 have it installed and 1-2 not.
hoping on alex to post a firaxian recommendation

I think you should only use the hotseat fix when you are actually playing hotseat. When you are done, restore the 2.08 file.

Yeah, I have never installed the hotseat fix, mainly becasuse I don't play hotseat...though I have Blakes Ai mod in custom assets, though that should not affect PBEM.

just wondering, but what is happening with this game?

(PS, I'll be without my PC from Sunday morning until Wednesday evening; it's being taken home from uni by my parents, since it is a massive desktop and not a simple and portable laptop...I'm looking for a sub to play the save, everything is simple this early, but I have difficulty with the timezone...)
