i would set it up, i believe claus and maybe rumpo haven't decided on civs yet
from what i remember:
sebp: spain
sir ralph: russia / stalin
rumpo kid: rome / augustus i think?
claus: france / louis ?
i was thinking terra - large, standard speed, ringworld again (it's fun i admit! though it might have been responsible for claus' bad starting position...)
if you want to play quick speed again, let's play normal size pangea instead... but i think we can finish a normal speed game fast enough.
if you'd rather play something other than terra, that's cool too.Comment

I personally prefer the fractal map type, but having played that one so many times by now, terra would be fine.

I'm fine with terra and standard speed, but I vote against ring world. Will we have AIs in this game? If not, I vote against large too, but would much rather have it normal or even better small. Undercrowded maps kind of defeat the idea of a race to the other continent. Why bother with sailing and settling, if living space at home is abundant?Comment

(Btw, in the current game, are permanent alliances switched on? What do you want for the next game? I usually play with them off, but right now in october story i would profit alot if they were on :-))
I was thinking to play with 4 or 5 AI's again, I am in an all human game (4 humans) and while i liked all human games better before for purity and because AI historically sucked in civ, this game here is alot more fun than the all human game. With CIV4, for me at least, it's fun to manipulate the AI.
Would you rather play without AI?

With AI please, don't want the undiluted MP experience until I'm a lot better at it. Keep the Permanent Alliances off I think, keep as much of the frredom of the game as we can.I do not live in London, I live in South London. Cylinder or donut type world is both fine with me.
I also would prefer five AI factions. I just think it add an additional strategic element to the game, and it's more fun , too.
In October story there are no special options activated, and I would prefer keeping it so.Comment
