                  • How is it possible your caravels always win? This is the second time in a row, even on quite low odds.

first time it was 50-50. so nothing special then...

this time it was about 2 to 1 for you. but i had used up my movement points and was bound to be in a fight. and i said to myself that if i win --> great. but if i lose, it's better that you only get 1XP from defending than 3XP from attacking... i was just lucky this time.

although, the game mechanics are with strikes. you had to strike me just 5 times, i had to hit 6 times. after my first strike it was nearly even chance...

                      • Odds are that at least one of those times you should have lost, if I would have tried this I would have lost twice.

even with 75% chance for each battle you have only just over 50% chance to win both. at 3 battles you're down under 40% probability. so you cannot really group all together anyhow.

it's always a cost-benefit analysis for me. sometimes i won't attack, even if i have 90% chance. for instance if the unit would be too exposed or the enemy wouldn't be harmed. in other cases it's worth taking a shot at it. (see explanation in my last post)

and by the way... the chances that you would have LOST both those battles would have been 0.5 * 0.68, so 34%. less likely but very possible...

                          • In this game, I've lost twice already on a 99% battle odds. Guess how much trust I have in 30% battle odds.

                            And the turn is returned.

                            • i once had a 99.8% loss... that really sucked bigtime, especially as it was a super-promoted unit

ragnar now also has printing press... he's the same fast as me and a tiny bit faster than you. this financial trait is really helping him a lot!
