modo, with SHIFT-TAB you can look through the combat log and see what killed your unit.
i had to delay my 2nd city production for quite a while because a bear was haunting that area. bears are surrounding my capital anyhow so no movement until archers..
i believe in this game we'll be struggling for a long time with barbarians before worrying about human opponents- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity

they are taking suprisingly much time but i am certain that they will arrive. because i have never seen animals without later barbarians showing up.

yep, i've got a lot of cheap techs.
but i was not aware that there were 8 civs in our world! my scouts that survived always have to backtrack because they hit a wall of mountains or water. i wouldn't be surprised if our world is split into two or more sections which are impossible to reach
