Wow, your source for what techs we have sure isn't very accurate...

We have no use for philosophy. It doesn't appear to be a prerequisite for anything else, but I never know with this goofy tech tree they have in Civ4.

i frequently check the F4 advisor and see when something has changed. but by the time i actually post here i remember something else
