i couldn't upgrade without the load patch, so i reverted to 1.09 and played it like that...

us PBEMers are just being cheated for our fun every single patch. it's getting truly annoying!!!

So Krazy is sending Lumpy's turns to Sabre now, right? Krazy will be gone in a couple days, am I taking over his turns?

however, we may want to think about restarting this one with 1.52 as we cannot keep 1.09 going forever.

what do you guys think?

Perhaps since half the players in this game are not going to be playing over the next 1 to 2 weeks, we should wait until they return to restart. And maybe, just maybe, a solution to our problem will have been discovered by then, and we won't have to restart.

What I hate is the other two games i'm in don't work for me either, and in one I'm the only one with a problem...

hang on guys... alexman has found out what is wrong. it has to do with the admin password.

although... a restart would nonetheless be welcome. the whole world is a little dry and we grow too slow to be able to survive a raging barbarian onslaught

I'll have to try what he suggested. It's still strange how only a select few are having problems. My Slaughter House 5 game has an admin password, and i'm the only one in it so far that has the problem. We'll have to all replay a turn, since I have to replay the last turn I received.

i just cannot figure out how to delete the admin password. after entering the old one, you can enter a new one, but not an empty box. and ideas?

Yea, it seems impossible to do. As for editing the save game file, it looks to be totally encryted, and I'm sure no hacker to figure something like that out.

I'm thinking this game will just restart once Lumpy and Krazy are back.

aebbeka: if you want, i can edit the file for you. why don't you of krazy send it to me to fix if you can't get it?

P.S. What kind of stupid fix makes passworded games no longer open?

- Games protected by admin passwords (only) cannot be loaded if the version is different from the one that created the save
