Not sure how much benefit it is, city has not grown, so it is therefore razed I think. A short lived city, give you 30 gold maybe.
Personally I think early exits like this destroy the fun of the game, game 1 was destroyed as a competitive game by early wars and quitters, it will be disappointing if this ends the same way.

I am in agreement here. I now face a very boring game start having just avoided your fate but am stuck with a Mayan Warrior sitting outside my capital and until I build a second unit it's just a case of hit 'end-turn'.

Anyone else has problems logging in and working with civstats?
All buggy to me and cant do nothing other than looking at the game overview.

I would suggest using 'Play your Turn' which is a massive improvement on CivStats.

I personally would like the game to go a little faster and the turns are always taking the full 30 hours.

Is hercules playing?
I see that the last time he logged was 18 days ago but the score has been increasing so.. any ideas?
