                    After doing some research into the very userunfriendly world of Civ4 Pitboss I have discovered the following...

                    Apparently pitboss runs better using direct ip rather than gamespy. I would like to use this method to keep my headache factor down.

                    Also, I appently need to set the teams myself (you can't log in a choose an empire). Therefore, if you haven't posted your choice for empire, please do so now so that i can intergrate these into the game at launch.

                    Also, anyone who knows anything about the details of starting a 2.08 pitboss game please post me a link. There is a patch i found, but it has an issue with python. At any rate, where there is a will there is always a way, so this game will start, the question is when.

                    Keep checking back here. Give me empire requests if you haven't already. If anyone still wants in before launch it is still open for more players.

                          I am at the stage where i am confident this will work.

                          I do not want to start however until i have everyones empire choice (i think one of the sweeds still needs to pick one).

                          In addition it might be worth waiting for a few more peeps just to make things interesting. If anyone knows of anyone who wants in tell them to post here.
