Hmmm.

I use the default as well for civstats. If it tells you that it is already in use that means that it is up and running, as in... should be working already.

Now... the other login.... that might be a little tricky.

I have never encountered this specific problem... so i don't have a sure fire walkthrough for you.

However, I will suggest first trying to change the options in civstats so that the new login works (probably have to get rid of the old one first).

If that doesn't work, you may want to try uninstalling civstats, then reinstalling and using the default (however if you try my last suggestion before doing this it might not recognize it).

In short.... I have no idea.

The funny thing is that I got it restarted - but also don't have any idea how I did it.

Previously when clicking on civstats, I would get the Bohemian Epic game loaded with the new user name (BetaACS), and that didn't work. And previoulsy I would get 'default already in use', but the accessing the game on civstats indicated the game was not connected.

This morning, for some reason - and I am not sure what I did differently (maybe it was watching the game and the 5 beer that did it) - I was able to get the screen that asked you to identify which user you wanted. Both were there - selected the default, and reconnected the game.

In short - I think it has something to do with beer.

Ok Beta, i just had the same problem happen (the default already active)

Solution: Open Task Manager, end the uploader process, restart the uploader using the default setting.

lol... if there's a popup you object to, post in the Apolyton/Community (A/C, not to be confused with SMAC) forum. I don't know what VIBE TV is, so I'll leave that up to you. If possible post the 'link' to the popup, or more specifically (I think) right click on the popup image and paste in the link that "copy the link this links to" (or, alternately, the image's web link, or even better both) into that post. DanQ can ask for specific objectionable ads to be removed.

However, in general, Apolyton doesn't control the ads it receives much, it uses one 'major' web ad service (one of the big ones, I forget which) and a couple of content-appropriate small ones (gaming type ads). Every so often the 'major' web ad company throws in annoying/objectionable ads which we request to be removed, but mostly they behave themselves.

OMG I wish you could see it. It's the equlivelent of having a Jack Danials pop up on the MADD website.
