Fortunately, there don't appear to be any forces heading your way at the moment. Additionally, it would appear that nobody else has Astronomy still, so we are relatively safe in the new world. But of course, we want to maintain our presence in the old world as well. I, of course, committed a blunder with New York. However, we have plenty of troops to defend all the other cities, I believe. Even, potentially, to retake our city.

I have dropped science some and increased cultural rate in hope of taking over some more land

I decided to take a one-turn break from military pursuits while the attackers are regrouping. So, I first upped science rate back up to 80%. That resulted in Printing Press ETA 6 turns, and -7 GPT. Also, only one more turn was required to finish a bank in Washington and for Cimmerian to come out of resistance. At the end of the turn, as both these things happened, our economy took a leap to +6 GPT, and printing press in 4.

Also, Hatty came in demanding Chemistry for nothing. Riiiiight.

Nothing much happening on the military front. Greeks are bombarding Pharsalos. A horse archer stationed there took out one of their crossbowmen who destroyed our workshop improvement, without taking any damage.

Still not a whole lot going on. Greeks are bombarding Pharsalos, but with only three macemen, they really don't stand a chance. I also keep picking off random lone soldiers Greeks and Romans send in as scouts or pillagers.

Well, Greeks have destroyed pastures on our only horse resource in the old world, but this very turn, the borders of Cimmerian have expanded giving us a new horse resource.

Also, my caravel West of Egypt has taken down a Greek galley with a settler and a longbowman.

Greeks keep bombarding Pharsalos...

I keep building retaliatory forces.

I did watch your city being bombarded and yes you have it under control

I too expanded our new settlements borders rather quuickly and will build a pasture upon them horses

Looks like Greeks attacked our city, and lost two macemen and a catapult, while we sustained no losses. You know what that means of course?

Musketmen take out the pikeman they put there to counter our horseman who has been dealing much damage in the past turns:

Finally, another Grenadier handles the last catapult. Poof, the attack stack is gone.

And here is a peek at the attacking forces moving south towards Washington. Two elephants, two macement, a catapult and a crossbowman. They really should pick up that huge stack that took NY and start moving it south.
