Ok, I have opened the save, playing now.


Some things I did on my turn zero:

• Got 15 gpt from China for Silks.
• Upgraded a Frigate to a Destroyer.
• Who is this Montezuma guy we are at war with???
• Planning to switch civics soon.
• Started fartin moving units in the general Indian direction...

1878 AD:

• Various builds finished, queued builds start. (Sorry, I do not know how to bring back the list of events.)
• Destroyed an Aztec Frigate. Montezuma will not talk.

1880 AD:

• Dropped culture and research by 10% both, to start accumulating cash for Infantry upgrades.

1882 AD:

• Marie Curie born in Tenochtitlan. Cute.

1884 AD:

• Assembly Line researched, starting Democracy
• Anarchy to Free Religion and Free Speach. Oh, I spread some religions first, to get a nice happiness boost as well.
• I demand Biology from India, no luck.
• I get it anyway -- for Assembly Line from Russia. (We need the food for some cities now, methinks.)
• Some Factories started.
• First units upgraded to Infantry. We need over 5000 Gold to upgrade all, so I doubt we actually can.

1888 AD

• First units move out to Yaroslavl.
• I cancel the Open Borders treaty with India.

1894 AD:

• Democracy researched, starting Physics.
• Open Borders signed with Greece.
• Many Rails finished, including some into Russia.
• Switching to Emancipation and Universal Suffrage.

1896 AD:

• Research down for 1 turn, to make another three upgrades.

1896 AD:

• Last upgrades, units woken up. No attack, though, not to leave the next leader with a war someone else started.
• The main force sits in Yaroslavl, another one just outside Jaipur.
• There is an Indian Submarine somewhere in the ocean.
• Oh, by the way, I put our Forbidden Palace in Lyons. It will kick in shortly, should make for a nice boost to the cashflow...

Nice. Btw, you can find the log button somewhere between the lab/culture/tax slider on the main gamescreen.
