Rome 2200 B.C.
Yes, it is nice in the north, except for that big black panther. Our scout decides to cover some already explored territory and go around.
2200:
NO matter, the panther followed us, but our scout prevailed, killing the panther. His jungle and forest defense is improving, he now gets a 25% bonus, but will need to rest after the attack.
2080:
Animal Husbandry researched, started wheel, we need to build some roads now. Worker trained, since Rome is without defense started training for a warrior unit.
2040:
Antium builds warrior, start obelisk so we can start growing our influence.
2000:
Begin building cattle pasture.
1960:
Warrior trained in Rome, start Barracks
I'm sure you will agree, that is some interesting land to the north of Paris!

Rome 1920 B.C.
I have sad news. Our scout walked into a barbarian ambush and was killed.
1880:
Upon word of the scout's demise, Antium put aside work on the obelisk in order to train a new scout unit as Antium understands the necessity of continuing to explore the world.
1840:
Research on the Wheel is now complete and our scientists have shifted focus Agriculture. We now have a new cow pasture but we will not reap the benefit until we have a road to take the cattle to Rome.
1760:
Rome's population has increased to 4
1680:
Our scout is reborn! Rome is now being supplied with cattle. The road is being continued west of Rome so that we can eventually connect toa (future) gold mine. By the time the road is done we will be able to build farms.
1600:
Building a farm, yes, agriculture is researched, we now take a military turn and research archery.
Here is a final look at our growing empire.
