The Ottoman Turks offer an unconditional peace to France. The 10 turn Peace Treaty has already been presented, and the Sultan requests that France accept peace with the Ottomans, and allow our wounded to leave the battlefield. Additionally, and in accordance with the Kings prior representations, the Ottoman Turks have requested that King Veneta reopen Borders with us.

"Princess!" - the courier all covered in dust and sand said barely having any breath left. "Your mother - Queen Catherine of Rus is dead!"

"Chtooo skazal!?! Eto ne mojet bit pravda! Matushka moia" the princess fell on her knees on the cold marble floor in mute sobbing, covering her eyes to hide her tears, but the strong trembling of her fragile shoulders was telling everything.



She could not say anything. The red fog of the grief covered her mind and she stopped hearing or feeling anything else.

Captain Bourgogne had the unenviable job of sorting through the all the information from yesterday's battle - reports from the regiments, casualty reports, his own notes and observations, and those of the observer corps - and tally up the losses on both sides. It had taken him all night, and his report went to General Jugan at first light. He looked over his rough notes and shook his head at the magnitude of the losses. The first day of fighting on the hill at Ekron Oasis destroyed 33 Turk, Russian, and French regiments outright. His eyes ran down the list:

12 batteries of catapults
3 regiments of war elephants
2 regiments of knights
5 regiments of maces
5 regiments of janissaries
3 regiments of muskets
2 regiments of axes
1 regiment of horse archers

And then there were the losses to the other regiments, many weakened to various degrees. Yes, the French Army of North Africa had taken its losses, but it was still a formidable fighting force. And new units had arrived overnight. Captain Bourgogne was curious to see how General "Nico" approached today. It was with that thought that the sound of a catapult artillery barrage split the morning quiet. His first thought was the General Jugan had surprised even his own staff this morning.

And then an adjutant came through the door of his tent. "Captain! Remarkable news! The Israelis are attacking!"

Captain Bourgogne sprang to his feet, grabbing his jacket. "And is our army prepared? What is "Nico" doing?"

"No, no! You don't understand. The Israelis are attacking the Turks and Russians!"

The Captain stopped dead in his tracks and thought about it for a few seconds. Then a smile came to his face. "Actually, I do understand!"

And clapping the young adjutant on the back, he added "Lets go see what is happening, shall we."

What is the truth? The truth is this. The Mongolian army while in the process of capturing and destroying a city of barbarians located within our region found that there was a chariot in the barbarian ruins with humans of chinese appearance. Why the Chinese aggressively interfered in our battle and region is unknown, but their stupidity led to the war. This was followed by more than half a dozen further incursions into Mongolian territory by Chinese armies and their allies, commiting genocide on our citizens on two occasions, razing cities to the ground.
In return we have once and once only entered Chinese territory and briefly occupied two cities, but kindly allowed the citizens to live, not slaughter them like the Chinesse and their allies did to our citizens.
Now they say they want an unconditional peace. Yet correspondence we have received through intermediaries state that the Mongols must apologise for their actions in the war when we have done no wrong. The wrong has all been done by the Chinese and their allies. We will not apologise. We insist that the Chinese and all other participants in the genocides publicly apologise before we accept peace and offer substantial reparations.

In the interest of achieving peace and establishing a united Asia, China would like to publicly apologize to the Mongolian people and extend to them a 100-turn peace treaty.

Will you put our troubles behind us and move forward together to prosper?

A state of active war still exists between our nations. We have captured or eliminated most of the Turkish troops on North African soil. The prisoners of war will be treated well.

Aysecan, may you relay a message to your leader. This war has broken down our commiunications, even though we are technically at peace. I can not promise anything and Neander has decided to refuse your request for open borders whilst battle rages in Africa. It would be seen as purely a tactical move on the part of the Ottoman Turks. At a later stage we may consider it.

Now, in confidence, consider that if the Ottoman Turks surrendered her troops in Africa to the Israelis (or French as determined by them) and return Jerusalem to the Rabbi (if this is their desire!), Neander would help Ottoman Turks rebuild - we would provide new workboats free of charge wherever you need them and open borders along with a long period of peace where our ancient friendship can be retrieved. Blockades you will be free from as well of course. The technicalities of the surrender to be as dictated by General Jugan (how borders are opened and when to allow such surrender but you must not make any attacking move in the next period).

If you have any Christians I must also ask that they vote NO to the Apostolic Palace's request for Brisbane to be returned to the DA.

After the burning of Jerusalem, the Ottoman Empire has murdered and killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians once again.
The city of Ekron was burned without an attempt of peace negotiations. The city was simply captured, the women were raped and the children were murdered.

The horrible nature of the Turks has once again been revealed by the Turks themselves.
