Grrr.. sorry.. I just need to complain somewhere . What are the chances to fail spreading a religion when there is one already in the city? I have failed 3 missionaries in a row and now a corporation agent!! failed too in the very same city.. I haven't even heard that corporation can fail (every condition to expand is there). I think something is wrong with the game, the chance of this happening is ridiculously low and now I'm afraid to try again to expad into my capital.

From purely empiric experience, I can recommend you always trying to spread a religion with missioner with full movement points, i.e. if he arrive in the city in question, don't hurry to spread the religion, but leave this for the next turn to do this with fresh full movement. It may be only a superstition, but this works for me and I don't want to try my luck otherwise.

To my observations, this is the case with only religion spread and corporation spread is not affected by this. If this will comfort you, I failed spreading a corp with my first representative too, so at given point I had 100% unsuccessful attempts in this game

On the other hand, I got a 1% chance Merchant in another game, which was exactly what I desired, but that's just good luck.

I too had that, using 7-8 priest specialists in a city then getting a merchant thanks to the Artemis is not nice. but failing four times in a arow in the same city is like 1: 100.000 chance

If we can have the last Spaniard to take France, it will be best if the new sub takes Greece, but I am OK with AI-ing Greece as it is or even better if it is made part from Hungary and then made AI.
