I will reload when I'm home. (6-8 hours from now)
I will then use the Japanese autosave (this means I will load BEFORE Japan logs in, undoing the double move)

India: not every double move is harmfull. It is not as if one moves twice in one turn, he moves twice in a row in one turn.
It can be undone by a counter-double move (but only if then the 2nd move is again not harmfull)
Therefore it's best to just always play your turn when you detect a double move. That way all options are open.

Personally I believe that it's not a good idea to play on when the 'victim' of a double move wants to reload. (experience that that never works). But at least we should get the option to talk you into that idea
It saves a lot of time.

But now we just must reload anyway so I will reload.

yeah, I was going to play my turn earlier, but when I was logging in I saw Japan already in the game so I posted here. Since no reaction came I had to go out for a social event. I'm sorry for taking so long to play my turn, but I would have played it early in the turn if Japan hadn't broken the turn order.

I also expected the courtesy of being given a reload which would likely take some time. If I remember the rules correctly, a double move = a reload.

I do think that it does matter quite a lot that they get a 2nd turn right after their first since this is a naval war and their ships thus could have moved 8-16 spaces in 1 turn. that is a huge strategic and tactical advantage. I can not accept that. A reload should be done.

edit: keep in mind, that is a double move before I have been allowed to even look at the map since Japan declared war on me.

I missed my turn, I had problems loggin in, but thats not a big deal as I had nothing major to do, but if India missed their turn we probably should reload for them since they are at war

Looks like the turn wasn't paused after all as it has flipped to a new turn.

Another issue... I understand that in games without tech trading sometimes allies may coordinate tech stealing from each other as a way of exchanging technology. I don't think we made a rule against this, but... should we?

India hasn't played their turn yet and there is less than half an hour on the clock so I went in and paused the game.

I agree, no harm has been done so a reload isn't needed.
India just plays twice in a row now, I have extended the turn timer to 32 hours.

That solution works for me but i will need a longer turn timer then because India takes forever to take there turn and the turn timer will end before i get a chance to take my turn the way it is now.

Well seeing as how no troops were involved in combat, I think the easiest solution is to give India a double move now and reset the turn order.

    So...

    Last turn
    India Moves
    Japan Moves

    This turn
    Japan Moves
    India Moves

    Next turn
    India Moves
    Japan Moves

    Every turn thereafter
    India Moves
    Japan Moves
