So, the Arab player, who I am subbing for (permanently?) has popped a great engineer. Seeing as he's a bit far behind to really put the guy to his best use of building a wonder, and seeing as settling an engineer is a horrid idea, I've decided to put him up for auction.

I could be sneaky and just sell him to myself, but I will be decent and fair and neutral and all those good things

The game is far from over, but I think the tier system has been a great success so far.

It was starting to look bad with all the European players at the top of all the rankings, but one of the expectations with this configuration is that the packed-in European vets would start trouble, and trouble was certainly started. The war, perhaps one of the longest and biggest we've seen in diplogames set back many European nations considerably. While they were fighting with themselves nations such as India, China, Inca, Native America, Arabia and others were able to catch up in a big way. Which, of course, is exactly what the initial thought was for the map. We have emerged from the great war with a new power dynamic. All very interesting.

considering that I have been the victim of a sneak attack, lost a colony, and my enemy has made 2 moves before I have even had a chance to check the situation, I feel that a reload would be the most sensible thing.
