I think we should consider changing the the timer back to 24h.

I am sorry Egypt. Not sure what to say. I consistently play at the same time each 24 hours. I try to play at other times if I can, but it isn't always possible. I definitely am missing turns in DoE, but also sometimes a turn in DoE takes 10 seconds which isn't the case for this. We have been at war for what 30 turns now, and I think there has been a problem twice, but because of the turn order I realise its always you who gets the problem.

Happy to go back to 24 hours if that helps. I didn't support the move to 36 myself but actually RP was right that 8 out of 10 we have flipped within 24 anyway, it just eases things.

Wonder if a good suggestion would be us reversing the turn order, so that you go first. That way you are not waiting for me and feeling I am messing you around. Of course that can only be done by a double move. But just at the moment we are not in hot war it seems. So I would be happy for you to double move on me this turn (e.g. do your move, then move first in the next turn) if this doesn't involve any attack on me or obvious negative effects of double moving (e.g. big stack appears in my land which I would have counter-attacked if I had moved in between). Obviously if you are about to make a big attack you won't be able to take that option, but if not it might ease the problem - you could get on with your turns and getting my turn in is then my problem.
