Nations of the world, for centuries the leaders of Rome have followed the religion of Islam. While not popular with our people, this faith has held sway with our imperial court for generations. The world knows 15 great civilizations. Of these 15 great civilizations that span the globe only three officially endorse the religion of Islam. Of the 15 global civilizations the three Islamic nations are collectively the weakest, smallest and most primitive.

We wish to be slaves no longer. The imperial court of Rome wishes to throw off this debilitating, cursed religion of our ancestors. It would be preferable to embrace the religion of the people, but it seems our people are deeply divided on matters of faith. None of the world religions have sufficiently persuaded our people to adopt them.

I therefore issue a call to the world. Rome invites religious missionaries from all corners of the globe to fight for the souls of Roman citizens. Furthermore, we invite religious leaders to petition the Roman court to adopt their religion as the official faith of the land. Decisions to adopt a foreign faith will be made on the basis of popular support and... any additional incentives we may be offered.

While we are not terribly clear on the Ottoman offer to the world, we echo it and make a similar offer to the world. Whether it is the restlessness of the Roman people or our affinity for loose women, we seem adept at generating teeming masses of people ready and willing to leave their homes in search of new places to live.

Therefore we will now accept offers of gold, navy, military and territory in exchange for our hardy, resilient settlers.

Afyer leaving Egypt still mourning for the loss of hte pharoah, Edmund Barton headed west to the English lands, there he met the great leader Hulk and after a week long conference came away with a new Alliance Pact, going beyond just their mutual Tao relgion, Rngland and Korea shared a similar vision for the future.

		Persia trains first grenadiers The Persian army trained the first troops of grenadiers. Many other armies are ready to be upgraded with grenades immediately as soon as an enemy violates the Persian borders. Together with the new steel canons, the Persian borders are better protected then ever.
Persian fleet dominates seas A growing number of frigates protect the Persian shores from naval invasions. As we speak over 8 different frigates are already patrolling the Persian coasts. New type frigates, named ships of the line, are in production. Persia has chosen to not let it's ships sail the oceans, but rather keep them close to use them when needed.
		Persian colony grows The Persian colonies in New Russia steadily grow. Despite the large maintenance costs, Persia still believes in a bright future for it's colonies. A couple of new grenadiers have been sailed to the new worlds already to protect the hard working colonists. More then 25.000 workers came from Old Persia and are now working the many empty fields in New Russia. The original Russian population is working together with the Persian colonists.
Summer Palace Az'Az almost finished In only 3 or 4 years the new summer palace of Great Guru Az'Az, located in New Moscow, will be finished. The summer residence will be used by Az'Az to administer New Russia from, lowering the maintenance costs, helping the colonists to expand the colony. Az'Az intends to rule Persia half a year from New Moscow and half a year from Media. The ocean between both parts of the nation are free from pirates because of the ever growing existence of Persian warships in the regio.

Ramesses II was approached by one of his trusted advisors.

"Great Pharaoh, the Incas demand an apology for what they claim are veiled accusation against young Inca holidaymakers, who apparently had a role in inciting the riots."

"Hmm, strange. We have always had very good relations with the Incas, and we have welcomed their young folk for ages now. What do you suggest we do?"

"Well, we have a solution, we believe. These youngsters come to our beaches, and get drunk on whiskeh and beer, and because there is not much to do, they fight and cause havoc. We have come up with a plan for an event due to a recent invention by one of your subjects."

"Pray tell me, what is this invention?"

"Your subjects call it Surphing. Long boards are used to paddle out into the sea and then they use these boards to ride on the waves."



"My, what a strange activity!"

"Our plan is to set up a large event, in which Egyptian and Inca can practice this sport in friendly competition. We will apologize to the Incas for neglecting their holidaymakers and invite them to compete."

"What a great idea. Make it happen!"

An official apology was sent to the Incas. Town-criers were also sent to all the coastal cities proclaiming the competition was to be held, and young Inca and Egyptians rushed to sign up. The surphing competition, titled "Surphing is Swell", was a great success.
